What is circulatory system in humans?
It is about the system that circulates blood around the body, also called the cardiovascular system. It is the combination of heart, veins, arteries, and capillaries these are some of the organs in the circulatory system that carry blood at every extremity of the circulatory system in human body. In our circulatory system, oxygenated blood is carried by arteries, whereas the deoxygenated blood is carried in veins. Further in this article we will get to know how does the circulatory system works
TWO PATHWAYS OF HEART
The pulmonary circulation of the circulatory system in humans
Now how all it works, don't lose patience we will shortly discuss it. The first thing we must see that the heart participates in two circuits, blood enters from the right side of the heart and is sent to the lungs, where it becomes oxygenated when the oxygen we breathe in from the air around us diffuses through the lungs and entered in the bloodstream to bind to hemoglobin.
Then,
this returns to the left side of the heart to complete the pulmonary circuit of "the circulatory system".
The systematic circulation-
Now after the circuit
gets completed, the oxygenated blood leaves the left side of the heart and the
blood is sent throughout the body, to deliver the required oxygen and nutrient
to all the various tissues and organs to perform cellular respiration.
It unloads all the oxygen and gradually makes it back to the right
side of the heart, thus completing the systemic circuit of the
"circulatory system".
PROCESS OF HEARTBEAT in "circulatory system"
So beating of our heart depends upon what a person is doing, I guess our organs have more brains than us, our heart gets the message from our body through the brain, that when we need more oxygen because in the end its all about the level of the oxygen we need in the circulatory system of humans.
Like for example, when we sleep we don't need that much oxygen as
compared to when we work out, so at the time we sleep the heart pumps just
enough to provide a lower amount of oxygen, and at the workout time or when are
walking at a good speed the heart pumps more blood as we need more oxygen in
our tissues to move or work faster physically.
"CIRCULATORY SYSTEM"- some tips on how to keep your heart healthy
- Get plenty of workouts/ exercise daily-may be not for long hours but a minimum of 10 min a day
- Eat food that has a high nutritional value- if it is getting too much then just do what I did just minimize the quantity you eat and maximize vegetables and fruits( any fruit )
- keep your BMI between 21-24
- And of course, quit smoking or drinking if you do, they
ain't gonna help you anyway
- Be on a scheduled checkup so that your health is up to
date.
IN THE UPCOMING
ARTICLES WE WILL BE DISCUSSING SOME DISEASES RELATED TO "CIRCULATORY
SYSTEM"...…..
